Accessibility Statement

Jamboree Learning, a product of JBL Software LLC, builds tools that every member of a restaurant team has to use — so they have to work for every member of the team.

Last updated: September 15, 2026

Need help, or ran into a barrier? Call us at (312) 993-6729 or email team@jamboreelearning.com. A person on our team will work with you until the issue is resolved.

Our commitment

We are committed to making learnjamboree.com, the Jamboree web console, and the Jamboree mobile apps for iOS and Android usable by everyone — including people who use screen readers, magnification, voice control, switch devices, or keyboard-only navigation.

Accessibility is part of how we build, not a step at the end. We treat accessibility defects as product defects and prioritize them the same way.

Conformance status

We measure our work against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard and we are actively working on the parts that do not yet. The Jamboree web console and mobile apps are built to the same target and reviewed on the same cycle.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, ordered headings, and a "Skip to content" link on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • Text and interface colors checked for WCAG AA contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Touch targets sized for comfortable use on a phone in a working kitchen.
  • Support for browser and device text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Respect for the operating system "reduce motion" setting.
  • Forms with visible labels, clear error messages, and status changes announced to screen readers.
  • English and Spanish throughout the console and the mobile app, so language is never a barrier to completing required training.

Known limitations

We would rather be straightforward about where gaps remain:

  • Customer-created content. Training documents, photos, and videos uploaded by a restaurant group into their own Jamboree workspace are controlled by that customer. We provide fields for alternative text and captions, but we cannot guarantee every uploaded file uses them.
  • Third-party systems. Screens served by integrated providers — such as Toast, Restaurant365, or ThermoWorks — are governed by those companies and their own accessibility practices.
  • Legacy media. A small amount of older training video predates our captioning requirement. We are recaptioning it on a rolling basis.

If you run into any of these, contact us and we will get you the content in an accessible format.

How we assess accessibility

We evaluate accessibility with a combination of automated testing during development, manual keyboard-only review, and testing with screen readers — including VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, TalkBack on Android, and NVDA on Windows. Evaluation is performed by the Jamboree team.

Alternative formats and accommodations

If any part of Jamboree is not usable for you, we will provide the information or the function another way — by phone, by email, in an alternative document format, or with a direct walkthrough from someone on our team. There is no charge for this, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.

Feedback and how to reach a person

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Jamboree. It helps us to know what you were trying to do, the page or screen you were on, and the assistive technology you were using, if any — that lets us reproduce and fix the problem quickly.
